Project Background

The International Flower Expo in Beijing is a flower-themed expo with wide influence in China. The venue is a temporary large-span structure where visitor traffic is dense and vehicles come and go frequently during the show period. The organizer required full video coverage to be finished within a tight schedule, and reliable visual command during key moments such as the opening ceremony and guided tours.

Requirements & Challenges

• The temporary structure is complex, so camera points must be deployed quickly, flexibly and reusably
• Heavy footfall in exhibition areas and public corridors calls for crowd-density sensing and abnormal-event alerts
• The system has to interwork with the fire-safety team and security command vehicles for real-time viewing on mobile devices

Solution

Wuyue Electronics delivered a video surveillance solution for The International Flower Expo in Beijing built around HD network cameras with NVR centralized storage as a supplement. Full-colour night-vision devices were deployed at pavilion entrances, main corridors, booth areas and the perimeter, and integrated into the security command centre through a video management platform for multi-screen patrol and remote viewing on mobile devices.
